With 85% of Australians living near the sea, our coastlines are part of who we are. Whether we’re into surf, sand or simply enjoying the views, healthy coasts, waterways and bushland are vital to our health and wellbeing.

But right now, climate damage and habitat destruction are putting our coasts and communities at risk. From sea level rise and coastal erosion, to land clearing and unsustainable development, our beautiful coasts face a number of environmental challenges.

Working together, we can keep our coastlines healthy for generations to come. Join experts for an online panel discussion on the environmental issues facing our coastlines – and how together, we can solve them.

Panel speakers include:

Plus Lynne Malcolm – ABC presenter and former host of All in the Mind podcast – as our MC for the night.

This event is being held on the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. Come along to celebrate the incredible women scientists working to protect our living world.
